CraftGawker.com through the Etsy forum last week and thought that I'd register there. Although I was a little nervous about it, I also decided to submit the limit of two items for review. The quality of the photos that they feature there is really impeccable so I was not extremely hopeful of my items being accepted, but I am happy to say that one of them was. Yay! You can see my bright red felted heart ring made it to the front page of Craft Gawker today. My other entry, a nuno felted scarf, sadly did not make the cut because (to quote them) the photo had "Harsh lighting and/or overexposed" which I could see; therefore, I'm not upset about it. It is actually nice to get specific feedback for once about why something was rejected. That is rare when submitting photos online to be featured anywhere.
Anyway, just wanted to share. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and if you get the chance, take a peak at CraftGawker.com, it has a lot of wonderful handmade eye candy.
