For now, my husband and I have only furry children - an Irish Setter named Cinnamon and a Dutch Rabbit named Junior. My precious setter was adopted from a local shelter a few years ago and truly has the best personality. She is a wonderful daily companion. It has become a habit that I play fetch with Cinnamon a couple times a day, usually mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Since I work from home during the summer on my fiber arts (no classes to teach until Fall!), we can easily keep this schedule, and she doesn't let me forget about it either. Cinnamon knows the word "fetch" very well and is always ready to play.
I thought that I'd share a few photos of her during the process of playing fetch. As you can see, her tongue gets longer as the game progresses. I can usually tell when it is time to stop just by the length of her exhausted, wagging tongue!

What a gorgeous dog with a great, enthusiastic tongue!
