Felted Wool Soap Instructographic Tutorial
When I sold at craft shows, felted wool soap bars were one of my most popular items. I sold out of them almost every show. Some people thought it was such a neat idea for an all-natural exfoliate and cleanser in one, some people bought them for holiday gifts and some people were intrigued by them just as an oddity. Whatever the reason, they were always widely popular at my booth.
These are also very fun to make for all ages. Big or little hands will enjoy the process and results. Use any bar soap and wool roving you like for this project - even scraps work well. Have a good time making a batch for holiday gifts!

(And, for those that come across this and may not know, felted wool soaps are bar soaps covered in a layer of felted wool. As you use the soap, the wool felts more and more leaving you with a small piece of tightly felted wool when the soap is gone.)
