A Critter called Hazel: another felted wool creation for the baby's nursery!
Earlier this week, I finished another little creation for the baby's room. It has been a work in progress even before I became pregnant. With a baby on the way soon, I felt like it would make a good addition to the nursery so I took the time to put the finishing touches on my critter creation. I call her "Hazel" - she just looked like a "Hazel" to me! Her interior is made of foam that I wet felted around. Her exterior is a combination of the wet felted wool base and needle felted surface design. I also needle felted the tail, ears, and eyes. No sewing was involved which is just the way that I like it because I can not sew very well. Since she doesn't really resemble any known animal, I just affectionately call her a critter. She was made with lots of love for the baby to come. I hope that you enjoy the photos and have a good weekend!
