The KCEtsy Team is proud and excited to feature COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS - 18 weeks of wonderful blog giveaways from now until December! Don't miss your chance to win some fabulous free items from this very talented team!
Although I've been a bit absent in participating with my local team due to the birth of dear baby Rowynn, I am still very happy to be considered a part of it. Please check out the KCEtsy Team Blog for a chance to win some wonderful items each week from my fellow team members.
In honor of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I have loaded my SUPER SALES section with fabulously discounted prices. My sale items are now 20% - 40% off! They also ship free to the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Many of my regularly priced items ship free to those countries as well with low shipping rates to everywhere else.
In addition to the great deals in my SUPER SALES section, for my blog readers only, I'm offering 30% off all non-sale items. This includes all regularly priced items that are not marked SALE in the title. All you have to do is type the promotional code "FFCYBERBLOG-30" in the message to seller at checkout. You must include the promo code in order to receive the discount. Please go ahead and pay via PayPal during checkout, and I'll refund 30% on all non-sale item prices via PayPal after purchase. (Or, if you prefer, I can send you an updated PayPal invoice, but please let me know that in the message to seller at checkout.) This promotional discount offer is only good from Black Friday, November 28th, through midnight on Cyber Monday, December 1st, so don't miss out!
And, if that wasn't enough great deals for the weekend, my local Kansas City Etsy Street Team is having a holiday sale blowout with several shops participating. Click here to see listings of all the great deals from KCEtsy or search Etsy for "kcetsysale" to find them. Also, many shops are having shipping specials and including freebies with purchases. Please read shop announcements for individual shop deals and visit the team's blog for more information.
Although I've been working as a graphic artist in print publications for several years, I am not as savvy when it comes to most things involving anything beyond basic html for web design. I often times rely on great resources that I come across online, and if it is a free service, then that's even better! Recently while updating the gallery page on my website, I came across an easy service for making great slide show presentations at Slide. You can also manipulate your photos there to add funny imagery and dialogue. It is free to sign up and use the service too, but you do have to put up with their logo and links at the bottom of your slide show. I think it is a small price to pay so that I don't have to worry about figuring out the code and other technicalities to do it myself. As I've said before, I'd rather be spending my time felting.
This is not the only website out there that offers slide show rendering. There's also Flash Slideshow Maker. I don't have any experience with this one personally, but the Kansas City Etsy Street Team blog uses it quite often in articles. I'm sure that there are many more options available too if you just do an internet search. I'm always on board for making life a little less technically complicated. And, it is a great way to show off all those wonderful handmade arts and crafts.
This weeks artist spotlight on the local Kansas City Etsy Street Team blog is all about me! I'm very thankful to fellow Etsy seller aj's country cottage for compiling the lovely article. My local group of Etsy artists and crafters is really a wonderful thing to be a part of. Be sure to check out KCEtsy.com to find out a little more about me and the Kansas City team.
